Eden Brothers LLC is recalling Calabrese Broccoli Seeds in Packet, 1 Ounce and 1 Pound sizes (Eden Brothers lots 1022067 and 1022068; supplier lot W4105) because we were informed by our supplier that they may be contaminated with Salmonella.

Salmonella is an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea. In rare cases, a Salmonella infection can enter the bloodstream and cause more severe illness.

Eden Brothers was notified by its supplier that the seeds may be contaminated with Salmonella. Eden Brothers stopped sales of the affected lots and is notifying customers directly. No illnesses have been reported to date.

The products were sold through Eden Brothers online sales at EdenBrothers.com and Amazon.com fromJuly 8 through September 28, 2026, depending on product size. Product was shipped to customers nationwide.

Consumers who have the recalled seeds should stop using them. They should not plant, sprout, eat or share them, and should not use them to grow microgreens. Seal the seeds in a bag and throw them away in household trash rather than compost. Wash hands and any surfaces or containers that touched the seeds. Anyone who shared these seeds with others should let them know about the recall.

Eden Brothers is offering a full refund for the recalled seeds. To request a refund, customers should complete the recall reply form, and an Eden Brothers team member will follow up.

Retailers and distributors who resold or further distributed the recalled seeds should stop distribution right away, set aside and destroy remaining inventory, notify their customers, and complete the reply form.
