ATLANTA, GA – Today, as Georgia students and teachers prepare to return to the classroom, Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tyler J Harper announced that the Georgia Farmer’s & Consumer’s Market Bulletin is offering free, one-year subscriptions to agricultural educators in Georgia. With financial support from Georgia Grown, the Market Bulletin’s SEED initiative will provide ag teachers with more than five students enrolled with a complimentary, one-year subscription to the Market Bulletin. Founded in 1917, the Farmer’s & Consumer’s Market Bulletin has delivered important agricultural news and classifieds to tens of thousands of subscribers for over 100 years.

“Agricultural education in Georgia is essential to ensure the continued success of our state’s #1 industry, and I’m proud to support the Georgia ag teachers who are shaping the next generation of farmers, ag leaders, and innovators by offering a free subscription to the Market Bulletin,” said Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tyler J Harper. “Growing up, agricultural education provided me with great opportunities that I would not have otherwise had, and it continues to do so for thousands of Georgia students each year.”
To receive the free one-year subscription, ag educators must have at least five students in their classroom and submit the online request form at https://bit.ly/4jo0I6B by Friday, August 29th, 2025. All subscriptions will be mailed to the teacher’s classroom address, and educators are asked to use their school-issued email rather than a personal email when submitting the form. The first free issue will be the September 17th, 2025, edition of the Market Bulletin.
