Our section is responsible for enforcing state laws, rules and regulations by conducting sanitation inspections of retail food stores, food storage warehouses, salvage food operations, mobile meat trucks and rolling stores to insure good manufacturing practices. Scanners and scales are checked to insure accuracy of pricing and weight, as are the shelves of retail and wholesale stores for out of date food products.
