Yulanpian brand dried bamboo shoots recalled for sulfites not listed on the label

Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tommy Irvin alerts consumers to an imported product being recalled due to sulfites not listed on the label.

LION PAVILION, LTD, Brooklyn, NY, is recalling Yulanpian Brand Dried Slices of Tender Bamboo Shoots because it contains sulfites not listed as an ingredient on the product label.

The product, distributed nationally, is an import from China.  It has the product code 2008.1.3 and was sold in a 230 gram, clear plastic package.

Those with a severe sensitivity to sulfites run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume the product.
Consumers who have the product may return it to place of purchase for a full refund.  Those with questions may call LION PAVILION at (718) 384-6951.
