Some Margaritaville Tortilla Chips recalled for unlisted milk

Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tommy Irvin alerts consumers to the recall of a brand of tortilla chips that may have a milk ingredient not listed on the label.
El Matador Enterprises, the Grand Rapids, Mich., makers of Margaritaville Tortilla Chips, is recalling its 13-ounce bags of Margaritaville Island Lime Tortilla Chips. The product may contain whey (a milk product) in the spice blend that is not listed on the label.
The recall includes only Margaritaville Island Lime Tortilla Chips in 13-ounce bags with a “best by” date of December 6, 2008, or earlier. These chips have the UPC code of 647671310122. No other flavors of Margaritaville Tortilla Chips are included in this recall.
Consumers who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk protein run the risk of a health problem or illness if they consume this product.
The tortilla chips were distributed through retail stores.
