Some Lawry Fajitas Spices & Seasonings packages recalled for milk ingredient not on the label

Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tommy Irvin alerts consumers to the recall of some Lawry’s Fajitas Spices & Seasonings packages that have a milk ingredient that is not listed on the packaging label. If consume, the product could cause serious or life-threatening reaction.
McCormick & Company, Incorporated, Sparks, MD, announce a voluntary recall of Lawry's® Fajitas Spices & Seasonings packages with UPC Code 2150022500. It has the “best if used by” date of OCT0110PX62. The product is sold as Lawry's Fajitas Spices & Seasonings packages.
The Lawry's Fajita Spices & Seasonings packages were distributed to grocery stores nationally beginning on October 17, 2008. The product is available in 1.27 oz. pouches, and the date code is found printed in black on the back, bottom center of the pouch. The “best if used by” date of OCT0110PX62 is the only date code affected by the recall.
The recall was initiated after it was discovered that product was improperly packaged with the ingredient statement on the package not listing milk as an ingredient.
Consumers are not required to return the product to its place of purchase to receive a full refund. They should contact Lawry’s Consumer Affairs 1-800-952-9797.
