Our Consumer Services Office operates the Department’s 1-800 call center. This office handles approximately 200 incoming calls on an average day. Callers may receive the answer to their question from someone within the office or be referred to the appropriate office within our Department for resolution or to another agency if the subject does not fall under the Georgia Department of Agriculture’s authority.
Consumer Services handles many of the questions and requests mailed to the Department, including hundreds of requests every year from Georgia elementary and middle school students seeking information about agriculture in our state.
