Poultry Market News - Daily Report - Wednesday - 11/18/09

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for next week's trading declined .25¢ to 82.00¢ based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2½ to 3 pound birds.  The market is slightly lower and the live supply is adequate for a balanced demand. Average weights are desirable.  Estimated slaughter today is 3,993,300 head.  This compares with 4,653,900 head last Wednesday. 

The f.o.b. dock quoted prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for next week's trading are:

Line Run Tenders:
     $1.7150

Skinless Boneless Breasts:
     $1.3150

Whole Breasts:
       76.50¢

Boneless Skinless Thigh Meat:
       96.50¢

Thighs:
       49.50¢

Drumsticks:
       59.50¢

Leg Quarters:
       38.00¢

Wings:
      $1.56

Demand on line run tenders, skinless boneless breasts, boneless skinless thigh meat, thighs and leg quarters ranges mostly normal; whole breasts is normal to good, mostly normal; drumsticks is good to normal, mostly good; while the demand on wings is good.
