Farris Named Director Of Forestry Commission
Robert Farris recently was named director of the Georgia Forestry Commission. The GFC board approved Farris as director earlier this month upon recommendation from Governor Perdue. Farris, who has served as interim director of the Commission since December 2006, will be responsible for all programs of the state forestry agency.
