Agriculture Law Focus of Course

The Georgia Agriculture Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia, will host its 3rd Annual Continuing Legal Education Course, “The Cutting Edge of Agricultural Law,” on Friday, Sept. 26 at 8:30 a.m. at the Mercer University School of Law in Macon.

The course will provide CLE credit for practicing attorneys, along with providing information to non-legal audience members as well.  Topics include: immigration issues facing Georgia agribusinesses, food safety and regulation, the 2008 Farm Bill, antitrust issues facing Georgia agribusinesses, and the future of agricultural law in light of recent commodity price increases.
